Apartments in Borovets

Hi,

I've just been to Borovets and there are several building sites around the place.

The first is between the Hotel Rila and Hotel Samokov, the Royal Plaza, and looks at fairly early stages.

Another is the Flora Apartmens, a huge complex next to the Hotel Flora which is more developed, and there is another nearer the Gondola being built.

They should not disturb your holiday as I guess the construction will stop when the weather gets colder.

Not many other changes apart ...

Not many other changes apart from an ugly apartment that has been built from a former restaurant next to the Happy Duck.

The weather is fairly cold but no sign of any snow yet.

Cheers Tony. I'm staying at the Rila 2nd week in Jan, hopefully all works would have ceased by then... providing we have snow

Got a good deal for the Rila, the refurbed room pics look nice although from what I hear about the food, we'll be eating out most nights. Will bring the ear plugs just in case!

Tony

I would've thought the huge developments had more potential to be ugly and intrusive than a restaurant conversion to Hotel or Chalet accommodation Confused

I was just browsing skidvd.co.uk and I see my post has been attacked. I was simply giving my opinion of what I saw.
