Hi All,
First timers here again, going out on the 10th Feb. Not been ski-ing before whats the average day....... Also someone at work, bit posh, drinks his tea with his little finger up, you know the type! - tells me how good Canada is.... what can I tell him about Bulgaria thats better?!
The poeple, they are so warm and welcoming, a great bunch, and the place isn't comercial, when you go for a drink in a bar for the first time there, its like going round an old freinds house for a knees-up
You can still put your little finger up whilst drinking tea in Bulgaria, but don't be surprized if a bloke hangs a bell on it and asks you for 5 levs.
Average day would be........
Breakfast about 8.30am
Ski School starts at 10 (approx)
Ski School finishes at 3.30pm and you can then free ski if you wish until the lifts close at 4.30pm.
Then for a few Apres Ski beers either at the slopes or at your hotel, plus maybe a little shopping before returning to your room to get ready for ...

Not sure which resort you have chosen, but almost all bars in Bulgaria will allow your kids in all night as long as they behave.
Relaxed or crazy, you will find it all on your doorstep in the evenings, and whichever you choose you will have a great time. PROMISE!!!
I am leaning towards having a few drinks, not only can I blame it on the booze when I fall over I won't feel a thing, whey hey!!
Ps. We're at the Rila, Borovets. Read one of the earlier messages says evening entertainment not up to much at hotel but at least by the sounds of it there is plenty of places to go eat/drink. Making a note of the recommendations from this site and taking them with us!
