It would be fantastic, especially on the scale of the one in Blagoevgrad...
Unfortunately i have only heard rumours (Bansko rumours ), be it that the site has also been pointed out to me, near to the Tamplier complex. Personally if i was a developer i would definately be looking at ammenities rather than apartments, anything to service the existing accomadation. With a little investigation i have discovered that any attempt to build a pool will be opposed by existing hotels, because it detracts from their pools, you know, those huge aquatic playgrounds, where you hit your head on the other side of the pool when you dive in (if your allowed to ) and pay 6 - 10 lv for the experience.
But then again if i was a resort operator, i would have pressed on with the installation of the 2nd gondola, re-opened Akidemika, installed an access piste to the rear of Todorka to open up Bunderitsa and in doing so expanded the skiing by 20% and promoted the resort to attract more skiers and turned the perception of negativity that exists into a feeling of confidence for the future..... again, unfortunately im not..... the existing operator has decided just to increase the lift pass price (rumour ??), thats just about right for BG, that'll get em in
