I dont think you need to worry about the backflip affect when your going 2 mile an hour and a green run. they are far easyer in everyway. just your stoping distance is not as grate. but u get used to that in about 10 mins. i have only expiriance the backflip affect once and i skiied all week on blades. i would recomend them.
My other half and I both have our own blades. When you try them once you just want to use them again. You should have a good technique on ski's before going onto blades but they great fun and much much easier than ski's.
