Are the Borovets Runs Dangerous?

Having read a few reviews and learned of the recent fatalities in Borovets there seems to be alot of runs which cross one another? This seems a tad mentalist to me considering there will be lots of varied ability skiers and boarders. Whats the best way of not getting pummelled at Borovets. Was at Pamprovo last year and there wasnt this problem of cross overs, and never even considered you could killed getting clothes lined by another skier or boarder?
Would like to know so I dont get ...

Would like to know so I dont get killed or kill someone else which would be worse

Mixu, getting scared? Razz Razz Have a look at the pistemap..
there's a green passing the slopes on the left pistes below..most pistes are red but the first on the left is starting black (Rila).
So anyway, don't fly down but be aware that there's a green in the middle and make sure that you're STOPtechnique is 100%!
To avoid this area go skiing totally on the left slopes and then take the first black down or go trought the woods and take the second one..Or go skiing with the gondola area's ...

The Borovets runs are Tame compared to other resorts, you get crossovers on every resort, Use the green cross code or keep yer head down when you dash for it.

Orlift your legs up when you jump over the Green runs chap!!! Confused

re: Are the Borovets Runs Dangerous?

There not really dangerous. The fatal happened on a single slope, just going too fast. Where the green crosses the downward slopes it is a bit dodgy, because you cant see it coming on your first run and the slope just drops away below you. Just go slow while checking them out like you would anywhere. The main problem is the idiots who all congregate in the middle of the downward slopes and stand and look down in amazement.
