re: Are you in Pamps now?

Hi, hope Pamps was all you expected it to be. I have been trying for over a week to get info on ski kindergartens and learn to ski packs for adults, bookable in resort. I have been told there is only one ski school in Pamps, do you know if that is correct? Any info would be appreciated. I'm getting worried we have booked the wrong resort as I cant get info on childrens (5ys) kids clubs. Regards

re: Are you in Pamps now?

hi floss
No worries
choice is OK.Ski school is probably one of the bests in BG.Well organized.Kinder gardens take kids any age.Beeing one with the gentler slopes probably best choice and the chances for staying in a winter wonderland are the greatest there because the resort sits 1600m above sea level which is good.Bansko is only 900m on base level Borovets alitle better -1300m.enjoy.

All the tour operator use the Pamporovo ski school. There is only one ski school....but plenty of private instructors.

re: Are you in Pamps now?

Not true Kev, there is the main ski school that the tour ops use and also Interski at the Markony and Steve's ski school.

re: Are you in Pamps now?

Don't worry about kids and ski school. Bulgarian instructors are widely regarded as among the best in Europe. My children learned to ski in Pamporovo 6 years ago when they were 6 and 8 and had what I now reckon was the best possible start.
Since then they have been on numerous school and family ski holidays and have never looked back.
I must have created a monster as they are going yet again with me to Pamporovo this year as teenagers.
The instructors tell me that 4 or 5 yrs is the best ...

The instructors tell me that 4 or 5 yrs is the best time to start a child skiing so just look forward to your holiday and relax.
I would be very surprised if you are not well pleased.
Good luck.

All this feedback is sterling stuff. Do you think I should pre-book my adult learn to ski packs with crystal £90.00 pp and book the kindergarten in resort?

re: Are you in Pamps now?

Book both before you go, should work out less expensive that way. I think kindergarten is paid for in the resort but booked before.
