It doesn't have to end when the winter is over - many many of us transfer to the Summer Site and the whole banter starts all over again. It is quite quiet over there at the moment but a few die-hards keep it going until it boes balistic again around May time.
Why not pop over and have a peek - then join us through the summer.
Pete Iw as thinking of this "sunny side" just yesterday and was going to pick your brains about it, but now you've mentioned it I will ask my question,
I was told that sunny beach was like blackpool with sun but if you went half hour north or half houe south that its nice ? where's the nice part, Im not keen on the noisy blackpool style holiday.
It's true that Sunny Beach has exploded over the past few years and is almost unrecognisable from the place I knew years ago.
Sozopol to the south is beautiful and unspoilt and I would strongly recommend it for a more relaxed holiday. To the north Elinite would be my choice for you to explore. Very nice hotels and far more laid back.
the travel agents are really pushing sunny beach to all the 18 year olds as a "new maguluf but cheaper" but i'll have a look at the two resorts you have recommended,
cheers
I went to Sunny Beach last year on a cheap deal with Balkan and it is one of the best holidays I have ever had. It was amazingly cheap, the hotel was amazing and the weather was fantastic. Although Sunny beach is aimed at the 18 year olds and there are discos etc everywhere, there are also quiet bars and restuarants that you can go to if you want a quiet drink/meal. I appreciate that although there are quiet places, some people do not want to be in the resorts with the lager fueled teens.
