Chatrooms do not have a title or theme to an enquiry, and are usually conducted by a few posters discussing a specific topic. This board allows people to log questions that others can answer either at once or later once they have researched the info required or come on line later. The poster can quickly return to their original posting to view answers.

They are also more difficult to monitor.

Fully accepting that chat rooms are hard to monitor but at what point does a thread change from a discussion board thread to a chat room thread.
