Hi Karen,
first of all let me say what a well laid out and informative piece you have written.

I cannot comment on Bansko as i did not visit their, but i second everything you wrote about Borovets.

I would also like to thankyou for your offer of meeting up with us .Unfortunately we could not make this firm as josh was ill for 2 days and the social aspect really kicked in which left us with no time for further skiing instruction. I have found since coming back that i have a list of ...

I have found since coming back that i have a list of 'maybe next time'.All in all i enjoyed meeting new friends, skiing and viewing the most amazing scenery and all with my wonderful son.

re: BOROVETS/BANSKO REPORT

hello there - glad you got back safely (both of you) and sorry that we missed each other, but sounds like you had a good time.

Wasnt sure about posting my report but have received nothing but good feedback so glad I did it now - I honestly feel that a true report needed to be written for those that have never been to Bulgaria. Funny that you should feel exactly the same way (as many others), but like I say - there are those that go back year after year so good job we aren't all the same ...

Maybe now you have got to grips with the skiing aspect we may meet up in another resort one of these days. K Smile

re: BOROVETS/BANSKO REPORT

What a lot of rubbish. Probably all true for Borovetz, but to go Bansko and see only a building site and insufficient lifts, hang on, did you actually go there? Unlike the rest above I would not urge you to give it another chance. On the contrary, I would urge everybody who is not completely satisfied, never to go there again. (It would make it a sad place otherwise)

Hi Bansko George. Like I said in previous postings, everyone should be entitled to their opinions (good or bad). You obviously skipped the bit where I stated that we had only had a little time in Bansko and that my husband was rather taken with the place and that we would like to see what happens there in years to come.

If everyone was the same then I agree the world would be a sad place, but Bulgaria is not for everyone and as such everyone has a right to say what they think.

With people with attitudes like yourself Bansko George - then I am sure there are many who will prefer to visit elsewhere.
