Smag - it was only on a very clear run, and just the once, just to see how fast I could get. Good fun, but not really proper skiing unless your a racer, in which case 60 isn't that fast. (I'm not, BTW!)
Last time I was in Austria there was a down hill stretch with a properly marked speed measure - managed 94kph . It was a hoot ! Your speed was displayed on big digital marker boards for all to see .
GPS unit and mobile phone is the best bet for speed check. Plato 2 is about 2 km long and if you have balls to go streight from the top down then the speed will be over 200. My run was half way down. 1.3 km up the tea house.
