What bits of Bulgaria did they show? Did they show ski resorts or summer resorts?

Miss hopeful,
they showed the Rila mountain, Plovdiv and Sofia, I thought at first that the whole 1 hour was going to be about Bulgaria but it was'nt, it turned out to be about 20 minutes, Mr Palin then boarded a lorry in a lorry park in Plovdiv and drove to Istanbul.

Snowy Norman - I am quite aware there are other parts to Bulgaria than I had mentioned, even me with my rubbish geography knowledge knows that.

I just wondered if it showed any of the resorts, is that ok to ask?

It's worth watching just for the gay transvestite gypsie singing in this bar, the men's faces in the audience were pictures, Palin said that gay transvestite and gypsie was everything that most of Bulgarain men hated !! Very Happy

Finally got round to watching it (couldn't sleep). Its a shame it didn't show more of the Rila mountains. I would have liked to have seen Borovets/Bansko etc as only been to Pamps previously.

Quite interesting still though.
