BEFORE YOU GO.

Some advice on some things you need to do before you go.
1. Make sure you have pre-booked a lift pass with your travel agent.
2. In fact anything you plan to do that can be pre-booked should be. ie. lessons, skis/boards/boots/etc.
3. Take some Levs for arrival. (Suggest £50 worth)
4. Take Sterling to change whilst there. Notes do not need to be new, but they must not be ripped or have any writing on them as these will not be accepted.
5. Take travel plugs, standard 220 ...

6. Make sure you have all thermal gear. ie. gloves/socks, plus good eye protection.
7. If you intend staying in touch with others over there whilst skiing, (kids or friends) then think about buying some walkie talkies as they are much cheaper than using mobile phones. (Available on E Bay)
8. You may want to pack a couple of toilet rolls as some hotels only supply poor quality ones.
9. Take some lip salve as the conditions can play havoc with exposed lips.
10. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months.

Thanks Pete, was wondering what to do re: ££!!Got the walkie talkies - thats for the tip about the toilet paper, i'l go and pack that now! GOING ON THE 7th!!!!

Pete do you need some toilet paper for your sking trip too, or only enoug magazines to read for the long flight.Wish you a happy new year and healthness.
