Derby on the left on the way up to Bobby's from the rila before the black cat. Bobby's of course and also liked Funky's on the left down the main drag.

If looking for traditional Bulgarian food, I recommend Hunters, we had home made sausages cooked in the chimney and a mixed grill also cook in the chimney in front us. The dining area is not a posh place, but nice, familial and cosy with the chimney in the center and run by a very friendly middle aged couple.

One week to go before we arrive!!!! Smile

mamacitas just to the side of the rila is also good, also bobbys bar, derby bar katies are all good
most are good just look for the most busy usually a good indication.

To finish off in the afternoon head for Georges Bar 1500hrs, the Jan 26th Battalion regrouped there on many an afternoon. Check out on facebook Francis Bennett pics. Great way to finnish off the day. Evening time Katys Steak Bar. ( I'm vegetarian) Sad & Bobbys. Veggie Karvarma and Veggie Sache = awesome. Horse can be added.

Forgot to mention the White House top of the Gondola.
Great place to meet up for lunch, Brandy Hot Choc, Hot Wine, good food + 10% discount.
Great value for money.

anyone who mentions the derby must work for borosport. i paid 98 lev for similar meals i got in katinas and napolis for 62-65lev.There menu prices were similar but i got an automatic 20% reduction on the bills and their beers were only 4 lev not 6 to start with. steve.g
