BEST BEER????

We're off to pamps on yhe 21st. Whats the best local or foreign beer to drink? Also do they do cider in the bars? 5 days to do & i'm getting in a frenzy now!

Best beer Karbenitza (spelt wrong for sure) or Astika.

I read an earlier post that said you're from devizes? I'm down in Amesbury. Top site this and thanks for the all the advice. My girlfriend thinks i've turned into a sad anorak coz everyday i go home with more info on where to eat, get money etc and i must admit it's getting quite sad! Cheers,

I have to agree with PP with his choice of the best Beer, Kamenitsa is by far the best!
At lunch try a Shopska salad as a starter with a glass of Mustika, it is guaranteed to warm you up, followed by Kavarma!!! MMMMMMMMMMM.

PS I know you were asking about drink, but I had to pass on the foodie stuff!

One word of warning, dont do as someone we met order doubles. The standard measure in Bulgaria is a 100mls. So a double can be 200mls, over a quarter of a bottle thats is an x eight measure. So he had four doubles and was legless, sorry Andy had to tell.
