re: BEST CURRENCY?

Some levs to get you started - the rest in Sterling.

Forget the Euro - much lower exchange rate.

re: BEST CURRENCY?

They are quite particular on the quality of British notes so never take any that are written on or torn as they will not change them.

re: BEST CURRENCY?

At close of business last night. Bulgarian National Bank's rate was 2.62. so be prepared for a little lower in resorts.
Euro is pegged at 1.95 but with it being so weak over here, not a good proposition. F.V.

re: BEST CURRENCY?

Thanks F.V Very Happy We are coming to Bansko 11th Jan and need to hire ski equip and get lift pass - is it best to bring enough lev to do this on 1st day - can get 2.5 in uk through travelex.
Also any suggestions on ski hire - I understand if you hire equip from gondola station you get 20% discount off lift pass ??
