Morning All,

Marky 1 and the Suhar are in good condition but marky 2 is a bit patchy. The Mussala path is pretty rocky, but hopefully if it keep's snowing it will get better today / tonight BUT at least it's open!
The Rila runs are in very good condition but it is very misty at the bottom, so most people are up top, so it's quite busy.
The Sitnyakovo path (George's run) is also still open and in good condition.
Thanks Kas. What reliable site is forecasting snow over the weekend? Sinoptik is showing snow tonight but then 5 days of sun, then a bit of rain then a bit of snow just as we arrive next weekend. The latter bit I take with a massive pinch of salt as forecasts much more then 2-3 days ahead are not worth worrying about.
Either way, it seems to me that the whole mountain needs a massive dump of 20+cms and I don't think anyone is expecting that any time soon :-(
It doesn't sound too great! Only a week tomorrow untill we come out! Just need some snow this week! A few weeks ago it was forecast that there would be a good dumping while we're there, between the 6th and 11th, but thats been reduced dramatically now! Although as said, you have to take forecasts so far in advance with a pinch of salt! I think best I can do is keep my fingers crossed now! Oh and keep dancing!
Rob,
I was going crazy looking at snow reports/forecasts before heading out to Bansko, must admit I was super lucky as it started dumping down a day after I got there, but even before that the slopes were in much better condition that was reported, plus the snow that came wasnt forecast, so it can change day to day...hour to hour....my best advice is to relax, wot will be will be!
I keep telling myself the same - there is nothing I can do to change the weather so I might as well ignore it and concentrate on just enjoying the moment.
Trouble is it's nigh on impossible to do so! The webcams are there... the weather forcasts are there... the sense of expectation is sky high....
I really don't care what the weather is like just so long as it snows for days before we get there and is sunny in the day and snowing at night when we are there
Haha nah id be able to make do with just drink should the snow fail us! Would just be a huge disapoointment as id feel the last few months of lessons and learning would be a bit wasted! so will continue to keep my fingers crossed an try not to get TOO hung up on forecasts! Haha
