BORO CONDITIONS - 27TH FEB

Afternoon All,

Heavy snow at top - around 30cm with snow still falling at top and bottom now...

Very misty at the top although it was still open until the end of the day... Pistes not been pisted today (although they were last night) so conditions quite tough on skiers but excellent for snowboarders...

On the Rila runs, still quite icy underneath but the frewsh snow is making it much better conditions and complete visibility unlike the top.

Much quieter again today and all in all ...

Nelza,
Depends on what colour they are and your age.
Take a pair boots with good grip. Trainers may have good grip, but if you slip and turn over ankle you may regret .

re: BORO CONDITIONS - 27TH FEB

For boots i have a choice of pink DC's or Dr Martins, neither of which i want to even look at lol.

I'm 20, but a sprained ankle or broken leg for that matter would be heinous as i've just recovered from a knee injury.

Despite that im more concerned whether they'll get soaked through on the first day as im really fond of my trainers, and whether i should take 2 pairs?

If it comes to it, ill pop down millets and get a pair of wranglers.
