Well after 2 days of high winds, it has now settled down again, the gondola is open, it has stopped snowing (for the moment!!) and everything is white!!
The sun is trying to come out, but at the moment the skies are still white, albeit much brighter than they have been.

Morning,

Conditions everywhere are excellent with fresh powder and perfectly groomed piste. It depends on your preference but this morning the operators are saying the marky runs are the best, but it may just be that they work on those runs!!
Forgot to say...only negative is that it is still very cold -12 in the White House at the moment and -9 at the bottom, so for all those coming out make sure you wrap up warm...!!
Looking at the webcams Kas and it looks fabulous (but cold). Deffo need to wrap up warm. Hope the resort dogs are all keeping warm - bless them. (I do voluntary work for Cardiff Dogs Home now, and I have been thinking of the animals coping in these conditions). Caz
Update - it has got even colder at the top of the mountain and a lot of people are skiing down instead as it's too cold to stay up there. Also, the wind yesterday blew quite a lot of the 'loose' powder away and with temps getting colder up there, the slopes are getting quite icy...
when you say wrap up warm what extra clothing do you recommend ? We are coming out to Borovets on Monday with my daughter and family, two girls aged 12 and 9
I'm no expert on weather so not sure if it is going to warm up but Bobby is currntly skiing with thermals - top and bottom, along with t-shirt, long sleeved top, hoody and then ski jacket and he is still really cold. So i would say make sure the girls have thermals under their ski suits and also it might be worth getting them some of the face protectors - they may be cheaper in Uk if they still have them in Aldi / TK Maxx etc etc. Lastly...for the girls, you may want to buy the hand-warmers ...
