BORO UPDATE - 22ND - RILA RUNS OPEN....

Morning All,
Similar to Bansko / Pamps, snowed all night, stopped around 4 this morning and then started around an hour ago our time...In total we've had around 20cm at the bottom and around 30cm at the top and it's still heavy now...such a contrast to last season when there was next to nothing skiable for the first few weeks...
Also....they have opened the 2 Rila reds, along with the Sitnyakovo Express - the 7km blue run and the Rila blue... The operators say conditions are good, a ...

Well done to all of you that did the naked snow dancing especially Manc Tom even if he did get banned from every UK superstore....!!

Such a contrast to the bluebird day yesterday, up to our necks in snow now, difficult to get around, and it seems to be getting heavier... big respect to those driving today, its very tricky, and possibly almost snowchain time... I'm out tomorrow, if this continues (and it forecast to
) gonna be an interesting drive to the airport, even to collect the guests to return home, bloody great hill up to Katerina....re: BORO UPDATE - 22ND - RILA RUNS OPEN....
Still snowing heavily - a few photos on facebook. Conditions on the runs very good, but Sitnyakovo Express is a bit patchy in places....

Thanks Manc Tom...snow does look fine but it's actually settling heavily.... Some of the slopes were pisted earlier but due to the snow, it's pretty tough going as it's just powdery again...!!All good here and just want everyone to hurry up and get here....!!!

Jon is out skiing on the rila reds, I've had a snowboard taster lesson with Bobby this morning and am currently chilling in bobby's bar and am looking forward to a few more forum guys coming out on Saturday conditions are improving by the hour
