BORO UPDATE - 26TH FEB - MORE SNOW AGAIN!

Hi Everyone,
Not loads to report but there was an additional 3cm of fresh snow at the top of the mountain last night. At the moment it is beautiful blue skies / sunshine up there. It is a bit colder than yesterday and as such, a bit icier. It is also very busy today but with poorer conditions at the bottom, it makes sense that everyone wants to be up top!
In terms of the runs, the only change is that they have opened up Markudjik 2a again - it has been closed for a couple of days, but ...

So, runs are practically the same as yesterday, but better again at the top...
Sitnyakovo Express - (BLUE) is closed as too many rocks / bare patches
Sitnyakovo 2 and 3 are also closed.
Rila, Rotata and Iglika drags - all open - OK CONDITIONS BUT GETTING A BIT BARE
Martinovi 1, 2 and 3 (Rila runs) are open, 4 is closed as is the black on the Rila side. CONDITIONS OK BUT A BIT ICY
Mussala Pathway closed - BUT PEOPLE ARE STILL SKIING IT AND IT'S BETTER THAN IT HAS BEEN FOR THE LAST FEW DAYS - JUST TAKE CARE
Markudjik 1, 2aand 2b are open as is the nursery slope at the top of the gondola - CONDITIONS ARE EXCELLENT, BUT A BIT ICY AT THE MOMENT
Yastrebets - all 3 slopes are open as is the fon fon and CONDITIONS ARE EXCELLENT AT THE MOMENT BUT A BIT ICY

YES! COME ON THE SNOW!any idea what may be in store over the next couple of days? just thinking about what we can expect come sunday.

Hi ya,Local news said temps would be 20 degrees tomorrow in Samokov, which means a gorgeous spring day...which although that sounds great, is not ideal for those arriving...but it is -6 at the top at the moment, so not sure what will happen! They also said temps will remain colder at the top of the mountain and said it will snow tomorrow...
I know that's really unhelpful but I'm rubbish at the forcasting / predicting stuff!

Guys,Conditions at the bottom are pretty poor - it has become very slushy and it is pretty misty BUT at the top, it is not as icy as it was first thing and the fresh snow has stayed soft and powdery....

Thanks for all the updates KAS, even though we know you have no you have no influence on what's going to happen it's nice to hear something that sounds a little bit on the optimistic.To be honest I don't really care what the conditions are, as long as there is at least enough snow/ice to do some boarding we will have a fantastic time.
