Ok....abolutely nothing like this last year and already more now than we had for the whole of last season...
The whole of the Markudjik area is closed off....basically there is new snow up to 1.5metres deep in places and they are worried the avalanche area(past marky 3 wehre people ski off-piste) will fall..... Bobby junior tried to open the White House this morning and he was sent back by a group of the ski patrol so there is no chance of skiing over there even if you want to.. ...

Bobby is snowboarding on the Rila side - but he is only one of 4 instructors from the ski school who could get into work...all the roads are still blocked - from both sides of the mountain....ie: from samokov and raduil...
Just taken new pictures from down here and just about to load onto facebook....

This is brilliant, what an amazing start to the season, so different to the last few years.Hopefully will give a good base for those of us who are coming out in March!
Seems a little ironic every one always worries 'will there be enough snow?'........
This weekend its ' will we actually get to the resort!!!!'
