BORO UPDATE - 7th Jan

Hi guys,

Will post more later as at the moment we are trying to dig ourselves out BUT...all you need to know is half the workers can't get up from Samokov (queue is around 1hour for less than 10min drive) due to all the cars stopping because of too much snow...

It's still chucking it down with snow and absolutely no sign of stopping....

If anyone can get a cheeky few days away, now's the time to do it!!!

Will update in a bit once we've shovelled the snow...

Resort very quiet as all roads are blocked getting here...too much snow and too many deserted cars...

then may i suggest Kas & Bobby that whoever is still dancing to stop until tomorrow night and grab a shovel.

Cool all the dancing is paying off, has bobby gone up the mountain today.

I will stop dancing, just for a while to let all the tranfers up from Sofia,

Is there enough to last till the 28th, if not will have to dance some more.

Guess it will be a bumper week ahead, all you guys and gals out there enjoy!!!!!!

So glad to see this. Was there anything like it last year? Hopefully this will provide a good base for next few weeks and rocks will be a thing of the past!

Jez, I was wondering exactly that. We are coming to borovets at half term and was wondering if early-ish snow like this sets things up for the season, or if things could still go pear shaped before our visit in 5 weeks time.

So... I guess my question is this... if there was little new snow over the next few weeks, how long before slopes start to look patchy again, do you think?
