Sorry for delay - late night last night!!. I am off to London tonight for 3 days so no updates for a few days....hopefully some of yesterdays arrivals will post conditions for you via Iphones etc. Again a copy and paste as conditions are exactly the same as yesterday in the resort. To summarise:
Misty, not snowing
Temps are also still low1 - -5 in resort and -7 on Yastrebets so both sets of cannons are still working.
Yastrebets 2 and 3 open and very good conditions

HI all,

Yastrebets 2 and 3 open and very good conditions
Gondola open for walkers and to ski down to Yastrebets, slightly better than before, but go careful! Free shuttle buses still running to the 4 man chair.
Rila drags open but the one next to yanakiev is shut.
Rila 4 man chair open - Martinovi 2 (red) skiiable
Sitnyakovo Express open again for walkers only.
All Markudjik slopes are still closed...
No worries... Will be ringing other half every morning, so if anything amazing has happened - ie@ lots of snow, will update from my blackberry if I get a chance.
So.... basically rubbish then Kas
We are supposed to be bringing a day group over from Bansko this coming Thursday to Boro... more snow needed methinks ???
Definitely more snow needed... if there is lots in Bansko, I don't know if it's worth it for you / them? You would know better than me on this but there's not much open and there's only so many times you can do the yastrebets runs!! saying that, if they have never been to Boro, might be a nice day out... ??!?!?!
depends on the experience of your group Steve. Yastrebets runs are not short runs I would have thought that they would keep you busy for a day once you've factored in lunch / chair lifts etc. We averaged five runs a day and we didn't hang around but we were intermediate not advanced skiers. I wouldn't recommend skiing down from Gondola unless it snows a lot more - I did it but didn't enjoy dodging stones I just didn't think it was worth it! Hi to Kas - great meeting you and Bobbi - ...

We'll keep an eye on it guys..
The group are mixed but include some reasonable skiers that i was going to take off-piste under Mussala...
Not sure if they have been before, half the reason for these trips is for them to experience other resorts...
Fingers crossed for snow, conditions here though not perfect are still quite good with most runs open (apart from red 12) and the off-piste is skiing well with care...
Will be great to keep in touch Kas. Hi to Bobbi. Steve - I think off piste will require walking boots not ski's !! Quite a few people I met last week in Boro were walking/hiking. Hope conditions improve.
Caz
Thanks Caz, keep us updated yeh ???
Have spoken this morning about putting a webcam up on the Markudjik beside the restaurants, a live cam with 10 sec updates.
All seems to be ok, just got to get the equipment up there and set it up. Dunno what Borosports reaction will be, but it has to be good for the punters...
