BOROVETS UPDATE - 9TH JAN

As ironic as this sounds, we have the best snow we've had for several years BUT there is no power to the lifts so the gondola and chairlift(s) are not working. Thye have now got it sorted but will not start the gondola again until tomorrow except to let the workers down who are stuck at the top.... They may start the 4 man chair later for night -skiing....

and to add to it, all the slopes were pisted and in perfect condition....

Hi K&B,really,really good news for the resort and buisinesses,didn't expect much snow for this trip,Sharif and Deano arnt coming now so i'm coming on my lonesome.Flying in Tuesday,do you think the Taxi's from Sofia will be fine for getting to Boro? anyway see you both Tuesday,take care,Rigs Very Happy Booze

That looks amazing on the web cams. Is it really now around 200cm on the lower slopes?
We are heading out next sunday and looking forward o a few beers and some good snow. Cant wait. Cheers for all these live updates, makes things much more realistic when checking out the resort!
Ohh, and how much is a beer in your bar?
