Morning All,
There has been an additional 4cm of snow at the top of the mountain, blue skies and sunshine and everything has been freshly pisted. Conditions up there are said to be excellent, although Marky 2a, 3 are still closed due to there not being that much snow. So, I suppose the best way to put it is conditions are excellent on all the open slopes up there - see list below.

It is also very misty / wet in the resort and the mist is supposed to be rising, so may be up the top of the mountain soon.
So, runs are practically the same as yesterday, but better at the top...
Sitnyakovo Express - (BLUE) is closed as too many rocks / bare patches
Sitnyakovo 2 and 3 are also closed.
Rila, Rotata and Iglika drags - all open - OK CONDITIONS BUT GETTING A BIT BARE
Martinovi 1, 2 and 3 (Rila runs) are open, 4 is closed as is the black on the Rila side. CONDITIONS OK BUT A BIT SLUSHY RATHER THAN ICY
Mussala Pathway closed - some people are still skiing it, but beware, there are some rocks / grass patches
Markudjik 1 and 2b are open as is the nursery slope at the top of the gondola - CONDITIONS ARE EXCELLENT AT THE MOMENT
Yastrebets - all 3 slopes are open as is the fon fon and CONDITIONS ARE EXCELLENT AT THE MOMENT
Similarly to yesterday, more snow is predicted for later today / tonight, so hope it comes for you!

The mist has indeed risen up and it is now misty at the top of the mountain as well - no blue skies and sunshine anymore!

We skied marky 2a and 3 last week when shut. we traversed over. There was quite a bit of snow then and they were not open. Also yastrebets express was closed?? them runs were fantastic.Is it still a case of lack of staff Kas??

Hi Nightmuffy / Steve CThere was a lot more snow last week than this week, so not sure why the runs were shut then -saying that Marky 3 has been shut all season! I don't think 2a will be anything to do with staff as 2b is open, which means the 4 man chair is running regardless, so it doesn't really make any difference if they come down a or b. Bobby did say it looks a bit bare now as the temps have been so hot, but apparently it's looking better today..

absolutely rubbish the conditions up there are awful iv just came down and u cant see your hand in front of your face, the conditions are awful, absolutely dreadful accept yastrabets runs which u cant ski as visibilty is so bad! TELL IT AS IT IS!re: BOROVETS UPDATE - FEB 25TH - MORE SNOW!

Charlie - I posted this at 11.30 BG time when there was blue sky up there - FACT. At the same time, i posted to say they did expect the mist to move up the mountain... At 12.06, I did then say that the mist had indeed moved up the mountain and the blue sky was no more...
You posted your report at 3.19 BG time - some 3 hours after I had already put that the mist had moved in....so yes, obviously conditions had changed...
I have absolutely no reason to make it up, no business here ...
