Im thinking of buying in Boro but i've been told Samakov is a better investment.What does everyone think and what experiences have people had in buying in Bulgaria???????

I was intending buying something this year.Liked Bansko when skiing here 2 years ago , but after reading these pages for the last few weeks is kind of puting me off. Prices are rising , its getting crowded , folk geting ripped of - it sound like it getting spoiled.
Im travelling to Bansko on Sunday - looking fwd. to it , so soon find out!

Been looking at the new web cam on the Just Borovets website. They have a good site with info, prices and apartments and seem to be a Borovets specialist. They have offices in Borovets, Samokov and the UK. I think they would be a good bet. I am going to see them when I am next over as I think if I am going to buy I need to do it soon as it maybe too expensive next year.I agree that Boro seems to be the best bet. I've been boarding there a few times and have really enjoyed the place.

Mikey - do you really enjoy sticking your neck out, or has no one ever told you that if you do your head will inevitably get knocked off.As for your comments about resorts I assume you have a place in Borovets do you - and if so, how many times have you been up to Pamporovo to see for yourself -or is you opinion based on hearsay.

Since birth Andy . I think a bit more that you unless you were born there .in this case I put my hat down -you are the insider for PAMPOROVO.Why do you work for pearl property?
I have more that PLACES in all of the 3 so my advise and opinion is based on what you get for a week if you go to any of the 3( time queuewing,crowdes on the slopes,nice areas when down in Base,easy reach,night skiing,less walk more skiing,no busses to buss you around and more importantly future prospects.So there ...

i totaly agree that borovets is the resort to go for, higher, colder, more snow, just look at the reports for the last two weeks, bansko is always twice as hot a borovets and its not as hightracy have you looked at the other side of borovets to samokov? raduil, pchelin, dolnya banya, its much nicer, and so much better value for money, beautiful little spa villages........

Samokov is not a litle place have a 'reputation' from the bulgarians have a massive problems with some 'locals'-last year end of summer one of headlines -dont want to point out what exactly. will be deleted straight away.Sorry.it is foggy very often.Only plus is cheaper than Boro.
I think from now expect some people to try to launch some sales in there with the start of building the gondola(who knows when will finish though- thinking it will be the same way as Bansko.Lewis you sound ...

Lewis Of course Bansko will be hotter than Boro it is lower that Boro..It has less or no snow much longer during the winter and that is why it does not look like winter place.just streets, pavements if they are there,and dust.
