Bulgaria Ski discussion board

Only if your stupid enough to believe that. It is there for all to see. maybe having a diffrent understanding of things than most, allowed me to see what others have missed. This is not to say that that this particular area is a one off i can asure you there are many places just as bad and worse all over the world and at major cities in the uk. Whether i chose or any one choses to holiday there is up to them thats what i thought this site was for to give people a choice.
Im sure you can travel there and have a wonderful time so many on this site have.
I hope everyone who has yet to go does.

Don't get me wrong we had a good holiday overall and met some nice people. If I had known about the food situation before hand we would have gone self catering, as we did have two lovely meals out one of them in a typical Bulgarian restaurant which we would have loved to have eaten in all week. However, when you have paid for half board and hve two children with you, however cheap it is it is still an added expense. Also when you have been skiing all day it's nice to wander into the hotel restaurant for a nice relaxing meal and this wasn't the case.
I have to say that I didn't go to Bulgaria with the idea that we were going to live in luxury and that everything would be top notch - I have travelled extensively and been to worse places! but going on a package deal I would have thought that the reps would have been around to check everything was ok, I saw the Balkan rep once the whole week - neither on the journey to our hotel or on our return journey to the airport.
I would go on holiday again to Bulgaria, possibly Summer, not half board - but would not ski there again as I don't think the skiing is as organised as other places in the world.
