Group of 17 also just back from Borovets, Many of us have been to Boro 5 times before but went to Pas de la Casa, Andorra last year.
With only Pas to compare Boro to, the new ones were so impressed by Boro that they never want to go anywhere else again!
We were the Bredon Hill Pinkies if anyone saw/ or heard us, mixed group ranging from a 7 year old Downs lad to a 53 year old!!

We met some great new friends ( hi you welsh lot and Nic, Karen and Ellie!!) and once again had the best ski instructor in Boro, Nic Lesychav.
If anyone has been fortunate to have had him as your instructor or are about to you are blessed!! I think he only takes intermediates or advanced groups, but if you want to ski hard and have a great apres ski week also he's your man!!!
Talking of prices, yes they have gone up a lot since 06 but in comparison to Andorra last year, also known as fairly cheap, the prices are still very reasonable. We spend a fair amount of money but hey, its our holiday, we ski hard and drink hard!!
Our instructor Nic, ( Yes, even after 6 years the advanced skiers in our group of us still have lessons cos Nic is mad and makes them so much fun, our boarder husbands also meet us on the runs and are total menaces, but thats a different story) says that the prices at the top of the Gondola are very expensive this year, but if you ski down off the gondola to the bottom of the Yestrebets, nearly at the bottom of the 4 man chair, theres a reastuarant/bar called the Finish Line. Good food and prices the same as the resort. Its always packed, and, the loos are lovely!!! and it means that you get to go back up to the top after.
Just a thought to the conditions and green/blue runs, the beginners in our group really enjoyed their runs am but by the afternoon they were getting worn, so get up early and get out there!! if your having lessons most instructors will start at 9 instead of 10 so you can get the best conditions! The Masala Pathway does have a more difficult Blue section which towards the end of the week gets a bit like begginners alley with bodies and tree huggers everywhere!! great to watch, HaHa!!!
