Balkan Flights

I have heard that you cannot get an alcoholic drink on Balkan flights. Is this true. Flying from East Midlands to Plodiv on 6th March. Thanks carole

No airline company in the world will allow you to consume your own alcohol on the plane. Imagine bottles of Vodka flying through the air when you hit turbulence, or a rugby team off on tour gulping gallons of booze!!!

It's less than a 3 hour flight, even I can last that long!!!!!!

Pete I'm sorry to stay that we did indeed sneak our own on just in case of lack of liquid refreshment and were fairly well trollied by the time we took off - however, we were delighted to encounter that this particular flight from Belfast did have alcohol on sale - everything from wine, beer, vodka, whisky, rum and various other spirits. So we took advantage and got doubly lashed! That, added to the vodka and coke on the coach, fairly well set us up for a mad 1st night at DAKS! No wonder ...

No wonder we skiied fabulously and without fear on the 1st day, we were still lashed! Roll on 2005!!

re: Balkan Flights

Hi Carole

There is plenty of choice with soft drinks, even tea and coffee!!

The food on the flight was salad with a chocolate bar, should keep you going until you arrive at your Hotel.

Have a great time
