Would agree with Sams comments - the cabib crew on Balkan still see their job as a glamourous one, and really do look after you. Flights are ususally pretty good, and the resort teams are very experienced. Been to Pamps twice with Balkan and would have no hesitation to recommend them as the Bulgarian holiday experts. Their head office in London is also very easy to deal with if you do have any queries or complaints. They may not be quite as slick as the other operators, but then that ...

Alex you will have no problem with Balkan. They are no better or worse than any other tour company. But I would think hard about going at xmas as the snow can be a bit hit and miss.
Have used Balkan twice and would recommend them. Doesn't matter if there is an in-flight movies as it's only a 3 hour flight anyway.
Make sure you book the ski pack etc through them or who ever you go with as it's much cheaper than buying in resort when you get there.
As Dan said, the snow is not always the best at Christmas but Bulgaria is fantastic and there is plenty of other stuff to do besides skiing.
Just to confirm what everyone is saying. I've been with balkan the last four years. And never had any problems.
But like what Daniel said, most tour opporators are very simlar, so book with whichever one gives the best deal. You'l have a great time whoever you fly with.
well that'l' be Balkan then Garry lol! Spent 2 days solid trying to get cheaper last year, but couldn't! Then found out that my employer arranges a 6% discount thru Thomas Cook for any travel operator, so booked it thru them cheaper than I could on the internet or on the High St. Would also advise any of you who work for big organisations to check your benefits brochure and see if they offer similar. Mine give me up to £150 a year in tuition fees off and get 50% of indoor skiing in the UK!
