Hi - yeh I think its about 400 metres away. Its supposed to be a good location. I haven't been yet but the impression I have (Steve correct me if wrong!) is that you can either be near the Gondola or in the town but not both..I think the town itself is a 5-10 minute walk(/crawl!)
Seen the webcams today ???? ALL THIS PRAYING IS WORKING !!!! now back on my knees, bow, up, bow, up, clean thoughts, clean thoughts
(i`m going to be bl**dy fit by the time i go)
Yeh, your about right mate, there will be a new access road giving easier access to the village passing both our developments, at the moment you have to walk up to the gondoler, turn right and head down to the town (15mins approx). It is a good location right on the edge of the new developments between the village and the mountains...
Hope this helps...

just out of curiosity, how much are apartments going for out there? are they resonable? just that if Bansko gets the world cup then the resort will turn huge overnight, making an investment seem very worthwhile! didnt get chance to look whilst i was there tho!
Just had a look between praising my snow idol....
Its working to well !! Fortunately there still seems to be some skiing looking at the webcams and it is still very cold, can`t see any new snow (expected 3m ??)
Perhaps i will stop praying and see what happens??, i would hate to be held responsible for ruining peoples fun...
Judith said that snow depths have already reached 3m which is why they are concerned I expect. This happened on our first day on the slopes too but the next day in the sunshine was fine. I think they are just taking precautions.
Skiers buried in avalanche is not good for business.
