re: Banska map

lift is in the bottom left hamd courner of map by Kempinski hotel

Bars are around gondela area ish (happy End,Friendly Bar etc.) also down Pirin St and the town squares. The tourist bars are UK prices for beer, The Mahanas (restaurants ) in Pirin St are expensive.

Book a Thursday curry night at the Avelon Hotel, everyone rates it.

Enjoy

Well there's the 'secret bar' formerly Bondi but now called Alpin Pirin or something like that - has changed name since I out there last year - FAB place - great food and drinks well under resort prices. Also apparently new for this year is a little hut on the way down the ski road which is well cheap and very good apres. Looking forward to checking that out this year!

Lol Dan - I did wonder but declined to ask! Razz Razz

Mmm - will be interesting to see how/if our 'Mish Mash' bar has changed - is it still the same staff?

Looking forward to checking out the ski road hut though not sure the toilets sound great - or do you mean there aren't any Steve - draft? i.e. wee outdoors? Razz Razz

Kim did I see somewhere that you needed a BG sim card? I still have one kicking around at home could let you have it and you can give it back to me in Bansko? Very Happy
