If you want some Lev to take with you, try your local "Cheque Center" today in Hastings they were offering 2.31 no commission. Tonyt.

Having been a Bansko regular over the last 8 Surprised!!! years I can confirm that not once have I taken sterling or Euros or travellers chq's out with me.

Instead I take my cash card and withdraw at the ATM's. (I also pay for meals on credit card too)

There are many ATM's in Bansko
1. The square and nearby
2. As mentioned earlier up above the gondela
3. The supermarket on entry to the village (or is it a town?)
4. Airport (and Ive checked commission/exchange rates it is inline with ...

Clearly the sensible thing to do is always take out the max you can on card each time reason being there is a one off charge to use the machine c£1.50 so clearly the more you take out the less that cost is as a % of the cash withdrawl.
