Yes. Down Pirin street. Past the church. Then 2nd alleyway on your right. You will see the name lit up in bright red letters (and probably hear the music). great atmosphere. The other really nice one I go to alot is down the main road from the Gondola (Glazne street). When the road forks at the juntion of Strazhite Hotel and the Lion pub, stay left and continue 50yrd. lovely Mehana on your right. Have to go down a few stairs into it. An inexpensive and amazing service Mehana called the Dedo Kotse in the old part of town. The guitarist plays all of the old rock classics and the food is superb, well recommended and definitely one we'll be going back to in January! Very Happy

Down Pirin Street but I thought before the church, there is usually an old chap called 'uncle George' advertising his restaurant down the alley 100 yards. His son was over from Scotland running it last year. (he is Bulgarian). Blodoy lovely and the wine was superb straight form the barrel. In fact there are 3 good restaurants to the back of the church so have a dig around.

Don't forget on the slope dining. There is a hotel that is behind blah blahs up a track 100m. Half the price of the on slope restaurants. Also down at Chalin Valog ? the lower nursery slope, on the right, there is a small restaurant in the woods. Fantastic and good value.I think the sign may say picnic. Anyway I am sure Steve C can confirm.

the one to the right of chalin valog is ok. the owner is liverpool fan. mad as a hatter but very funny. wasnt over keen on the choice of food for lunch. the hotel behind bla bla is defo worth a visit as really good value. they do giros but not as good as the ones that are now sold in town. my perfect lunch....ski down ski road. nice kebab from a kiosk, then a bottle of beer and some donuts to accompany back up the gondola

Right - I don't know if you want to class the hidden house on the left hand side as you ski down the ski road a mehana. ( its just after the turning to Chain Valog on your left before the bridge ) but this place is quality for food and drink and is as cheap as cheap chips. Love sitting outside here before the last push down hill to the more expensive place s Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Booze Booze
