Bansko Night Skiing: yes or no?

Now i have heard there is no longer night skiing in bansko, but it still states there is under the information on bansko on this website, and its also stated in the balkan holidays 2011/2012 brochure...so i just want to be sure whether it is or not, although it would be great if there was.

We were there 2009 and 2010 and on neither occasion was night skiing an option
Might be different this season but definitely not whilst we were there.
Hopefully someone out there now or recently will see and respond to your post. You'll have a great time nonetheless

It is advertised in their new brochure etc etc but it will only be the ski road if they do it. I will try to find out if they are actually doing it for you.re: Bansko Night Skiing: yes or no?
cheers... from what i can think of is that the gondola isn't open but the ski road is lit in the night, and if you stay up the top of the gondola for like dinner, then ski down when its dark?re: Bansko Night Skiing: yes or no?

"Yes, we have night skiing. Only the ski road and it is all floodlit down. You will have to get to the top by car though as the gondola will not run at night"
Crap if you ask me ....why advertise it when nothing is open to get you up there. Like every tourist has a car to take them up

so another words stay up the top of the gondola until it gets dark then ski down... might have to do that one day

or i presume then that it says you canbook night skiing locally with balkan, is that they will take you up to the top of the gondola in a vehicle...

Dean, in my experience all the bars and restraunts up on the mountain close around 4-4.30, so there would be nowhere to stay in the warm waiting for darkness.
That said we normally get the last lift to the top of todorka, come down slowly via shiligarnika, stopping for a wee snifter from the hip flask and a fag break for my son, by this time most of the groups and others have cleared the ski road from the gondola top station, this time of year it is getting dark shortly after 5 so is the ...
