Bansko Ski Lessons

Hi,

I would like to book ski equipment, a pass and some lessons at Bansko. Can anyone recommend any ski schools?

And is it better to book before you arrive in Bansko or is it cheaper when your there?

Nightmuffy and Steve C are the best ones for this as they are based in Bansko - click on either of their names (they are on lots of posts on the forum) and send them an email direct and they should be able to help!

Cheers Kas, Hi Ben, depends on your arrival date, the busy times around half term (mid to end Feb) can make the guarantee of better equipment a problem, perhaps better to pre-book... Drop us a mail, we'll see what we can do

How are you? My girlfriend and I want to ski and snowboard next year , and we want to do it in Bansko but we've never done it before. What do I have to hire, equipment, and We'd like to stay one week. Which month is better for going to there? which place to stay? which school for lessons?

A lot of questions.. basically where are you coming from ? do you need self catering apartment or hotel ? if you are absolute beginners perhaps better to book a package including hire of board and boots, lift pass, and instruction.. and the best deal is through the operator, Ulen..
The best month is difficult, personally i have always liked March, early in the month..

You would hope that Ben has already checked with the tour operators, Balkan definitely offering the best all inclusive deals.. but perhaps he fancies an apartment ? and planning his own destiny. Looking at your ip Terry, you based in Bansko ?

Hi Steve, I was a rep in Bansko a few years ago, but I go back every season, I have lots of friends in Bulgaria/Bansko so you could say it's my second home
