There is nobody on the mountains yet as they apparently set of a bomb to stop an avalanche. They should be opening up the gondola at 11.00am so you will see people on there soon.

There is one blue on the piste map that you cannot get to (last blue from the top) so be carefull as you will end up on a not very nice red one as not only very steep (poss black in France), as this is shaded so half the run is icy and half a bit moguly. Also only one black run open, I think the longest one one the piste is closed but no explanation as to why.
Hopefully I will get to ski for a couple of hours this afternoon as it's my last day here and if I do I will try and give you a report later, but only 4 PC's in a big hotel so can't always get on.
Thay haven't set a bomb to stop an avalanche....a group of eco warriors opposed to the over development of Bansko and the lack of regard for the surroundings have planted a bomb and threatened to set it off.....
Sorry Tim, just said what was going round our hotel. Does that mean that the gondola won't be open at all today then, because if what you say is correct they can't possibly predict a time they can re-open. If you have heard some more, please let me know.
