re: Bansko current conditions???

At the moment, 6.45pm, it is pi**ing down, and has been most of the day... Temps around 12 degrees so unlikely to be snowing up top, but may if the temps drop through the night...
No snow in the town or bottom of ski road, to low... The snow earlier was mainly on the mountain, the cover getting as far down down as Challin Valog, but now has all gone Sad don't worry, it'll be back Wink

re: Bansko current conditions???

Hehe.
Agreed - it's all looking good for Bansko - but the long range weather forecasts do make me laugh!
It's been shown that weather forecasts are entirely useless for anything above 7 days! Apart from the obvious like knowing what the average conditions are in that area at that time of year. Last year the UK was predicted to have a mild winter Exclamation
I love the way we all (myself included) just accept what "experts" say unquestioningly. Often it turns out that they don't ahve any more idea ...

Last night I took some cheese out of my fridge - and it had frozen. I've never seen cheese served with as many things as in Bansko - therefore this must be a sign that Bansko is going ot have a long, cold, snowy winter! Very Happy
Sorry peeps but that's as good a prediction as any "expert" can give you!

Matt
