Just booked my flights for 5 days boarding in Bansko, 14-19 december. Hoping there will be some snow, any whispers of when the resort will open?Also looking for a reliable company to transfer us from Sofia airport, any recommendations?

Steve's all round top bloke and is one who has gone to Bansko to chase his dream..Your better off knowing him than not,i'm sure he'll help you out if at all possible..

Season should start 15th Dec and whilst there was snow last year, this is unusual and proper weather doesn't come until the period between Xmas and new year. Take a good book or three because there is bugger all to do in bansko if there's no snow.re: Bansko dec09
Ten pin bowling, casinos, SPA's, Gym's, Pubs.Hunting, walking, lazy days in the Hotel.

Day trip down to Blagoevgrad, closer to home, Dobriniste, Razlog, Bania.....Sightseeing, wine tasting, but mostly beer tasting
At the end of the day, if there is no snow, i will be kicking my heels, i know some cheap bars
