Bansko deserted??

Walked out from LuckyBansko last night about 8pm into the square and settled in one of the mehanas. There was not one single person walking at all deadly quiet.
Mehanah pretty full but where is everyone this is supposed to be the busiest week of the year I've seen it massively busier last week of the ski season or min nov weekend?

I'm guessing it's tour operater change over night very strange. Unless people just stay in the hotel and up near happy end only

Top of the town mate, always quiet down here this time of year. Will get busier towards the end of the season as the weather improves. Snow ok for ya?

Also weekend is change over days for many tour operators.

I must admit we expected to see crowds and crowds so unless they are all coming today its alot quieter than we thought. Perhaps the world cup has put people off coming???

Deadly quiet again in town.
Happy end wasn't busy either where is everyone?spoke to ski instructors who all agreed this season so far has been very low on numbers.

Not good at all for property owners. That said doesn't one Russian own ulen and a number of hotels and he/she closes down the gondelas if bookings are down in his hotels Russian mafia I heard!!cannot believe that is serious though as no country would accept corruption in the sort of drugs money laundering raceterrring

Ulen is all Bulgarian, as is Balkan Holidays, Balkan Hotels, Balkan Airlines, First Investment Bank, ironically owned by the same Bulgarian couple.
Anyway, there are no mafia here, its just Bulgarian business
