Ski Bunny et al - no need to worry - its dumped half a metre today in Bansko, the hotel bus has had to put its chains on. Our rep says its probably on till Sunday!

The season is open till April every year - you can book but you just won't get a rep - they go off and do their 'spring thing' at the end of March.

We are sitting in our hotel now, looking outside in Bansko and there is snow EVERYWHERE, the mountain is full of the good stuff.

Hey. Great to hear about the snow!! Hopefully it will encourage the resort to stay open. I know one of the instructors and he says season finishes just before easter....then again i could have misunderstood and he could mean thats when the instructors are finishing.

It could proof to be an expensive day, if i keep having to get taxi's to the top.... Lets hope the pubs stay open !

QB you are a little wrong. Bansko had snow for two days solid, at least 2 metersof fresh snow and today wwas the first chance to snow it.

Dave was right i think it was more than 2 days..just got back from there myself. i heard everywhere snowed but the amount of snow they had was unreal in bansko dont know about everywhere else..but snow in the town was almost up to my thighs and im about 6ft! it was so good that it snowed that much..looks like it has set it up for the rest of the season. but it wasnt as packed last week. there were people but no where near as many this time last year.
