re: Bansko investment

Things still pottering (Devon term Wink) along, but there is more of a finished feel in some parts of Bansko. The waterpark is still proceeding as are the making up of roads...
The flood damage was rectified within 2 weeks, and the massive ground works to the side of the Glazne above the culvert are witness to the same situation not happening again...
Amigo's are building a new `apres ski' bar near to the traffic lights just down from the gondola, it will be called `holiday village'. ...

Amigo's are building a new `apres ski' bar near to the traffic lights just down from the gondola, it will be called `holiday village'. Hopefully this will provide competition for `Happy End' (unhappy end ??) and the `Friendly bar'... A new bar opposite the `Lion' called `Pirin 75' has recently opened, great music and prices, and the guy who runs it is spot on.. should offer the `Lion' some competition...
All in all, very upbeat for the season, new development on the mountain, snow forecast again this week with much lower temps than of late (20 degrees yesterday)
and our business has gone through the roof, the downside being i'll be behind a steering wheel all season Mad

re: Bansko investment

Shhhhhhhhhh mate, still not official (treehuggers etc)....
We don't actually know yet as its difficult to get up there with the security on the mountain. Im hoping to creep up some time in the next week to have a look. Im hoping its in hand, but the weather has closed in again, slowing up works on the mountain....
Fingers crossed as the completion date is Dec 1st, but its rumoured the new run may not be completed this season Sad
