Bansko looking v.good

Just been looking at the webcam on this site and on www.banskoski.com and the runs are really looking very good after all the stressing and panic only a few days ago.

All those flying out tomorrow for the xmas week, have brilliant time and save some snow for everyone else!

Hi Hornster, my wife and two sons and I leave Ireland for Bansko tomorrow 23 December. It's our first time and we are very excited! Happy Christmas to everyone on the discussion board. Mybe I'll see some of you tomorrow.

Hello, off to as well to bansko with my husband and two son's (10&12) tomorrow. First time for us too. Where are you staying?

And a very merry ( ) xmas to all of you and I have absolutely no doubt at all that you will have a blast on in Bansko and on the slopes. Those runs are just crying out to be skied on! If I were going tomorrow I would make sure that I got the first gondola to the top of the mountain and be the first to carve that carefully groomed piste. Then again, I am quite sad like that!

We're staying that the Hotel Orphey about 20 mins from the Gondola lift. Where will you be?

Hotel Perun, which i think is 5/10 min from gondola. Hope the white stuff is enough for us to try and ski!! I will be the one flat on my backside most of the time laughing while my two children will just ski on by.

Hi Guys - 6 of us are going to Hotel Perun at end of january. Any pointers or tips on best places to go and things to do would be gratefully received!!

Ha Ha, I reckon I will be on my backside too while my whole family does black runs by the end of the week. I can always dream of being James Bond, the reality may be something quite different! Whatever the outcome of my first foray into skiing, I am really looking forward to a great time! My wife Val and I will watch out for you.
