Took bikes and guests up to Vihren yesterday, they are re-surfacing the mountain road again
And...... there is a lot of activity at Bunderitsa Polyana, heavy machinery and earth moving behind the trees across from the gondola, gonna check it out on Sunday...
At last, a person with true interest, and it seems perhaps a vested one at that...
I can report that the resurfacing continues, a fine job surely deserving in at least a knighthood, or even a damn good night out with some dancing ladies
The works to the rear of Banderitsa Polyana are for a new cross country course which will be available for summer skiers who use the wheeled skis. It will be tarmaced (of more interest to you i suppose ??)..... As is, it makes a good MTB ...

As for photos ?? unfortunately due to the hush hush nature of the refurbishment im sworn to secrecy... until the monies paid to the tarmac bosses have been salted away under their beds, and the mayors drive has been relaid with the overfill where they skimped on the last 2km (but you lads would know all about things like that )
Telling me mate, i dared not to mention second gondola but the works were in the position of the proposed top station
Ah well, back to the drawing board
