Christina - what crazy mehanas did you go to?!!! They must have seen you coming a mile away!
4 of us went last March and we were paying around 80lev for a 2 course meal plus drinks on mehanas around Pirin Street - which would have been about £35 back then. There were 11 of us that went out over Christmas, and in Bansko we were still paying about 270lev all in - roughly about £135.
And for the life of me I'll never understand why people complain about the food in mehanas. Meat - ...
