Bansko or Bust

Hi Posters

I am going away to Bansko on 22nd Jan for my friend Debs 19th birthday bash. Just the 6 girls looking for a wild time. Its our first time skiing. Stopping at the Strazhite Hotel.

What happens on these holidays. Is the slope slippery?

Suggestions on were to party/what to do are more than welcome.

There is absolutely nothing to do but ski!! Borovets is where you want to be if it's wild parties etc. Bansko is for the serious skier/boarder only.

My first time on this site, if you think Babs is a bloke, your loss, and who is Jimmy?. Thanks Hornster for taking us seriously. We have booked Bansko now, so maybe Borovets next time, we shall live to tell.

I went Bansko last year, there are a few clubs out there and a bar called the Ski Sports bar were I spent most of my time.
Were going back on the 28.01.06 so must of had a good time !!! Mabe meet up for a drink or two

OK... I admit, Bansko isn't Boro but... LOTS of places to drink alcohol - and a party's what you make it.

You must try Hot Rhakia (if you go into a local Mehana, they'll think you're wonderful)

P.S. Rhakia's rather potent - but worth the entertainment value of watching the waiter narrowly avoid burns.
