Hey
I am going to buy buying property soon in Bulgaria. I have narrowed it down to Bansko and Pamporovo. I have never been am wondring which you think wold be the best investment. I am looking at the Orpheus Resort in Pamporov and a number of others in Bansko. I will visit in early December. Any advice would be great. Perhaps Pamporovo Pete will have some good advice.
Thanks and happy Sking!!
Ryan
Hi Ryan,
I'm buying near Pamps because I love it there, I've never been to Bansko, But I'm sure both resorts offer good and bad points. This is only my opinion but I've heard more good about Pamps than Bansko from other people not Property Developers. My advise would be to do what you are doing and ask for good info in both resorts from others who have bought and see how it weighs up. Don't believe every you read on Property Sites. It also depends on what you want out of the resort because ...

Good Luck

I would say that it is a little late for buying as an investment either in Pamporovo or in Borovets. And for skiing ? well( I stress )I think-- neither of the 3.
But then again if you fall in love with particular country and place, go for it and hope for the best.
One of the downsides to buying so close to the Capital is that if you want to ski on a quick weekend break it may get overcrowded because it is easily accesable from the capital and a lot of other countries. Imagine all those people thinking of a quick trip over to ski now that the cheap flights are coming.
Don't forget pamps is close to the greek coast , and close to plovdiv airport. Also the Perelik Project has already started.
Its all down to personal choice if its a holiday home, ...

Hi Sparky,
I've heard alot of good stuff about Chepelare, Have been passed on the bus a few times. I have bought in Stoikite because I didn't want to be in the centre of Pamps but I love it also, just happens that the new lifts are being built next to my place at the moment (I didn't know this when I bought) so its a bonus for me.
I'll be exploring the area by bike and hope to ride over to Chepalare on my bike sometime next spring
