Pamporovo has the half pipe although is not clearly advertised. Apparently bansko hasn't had one for years. Our instructor advised us this.
They closed no 9 tomba whilst we were there for two days to make inspections, i was glad they opened it on satirday in time for us to ski it before going home!
We were disappointed the fun park had not been started as although the jumps would have been far too big for us we would have like to have watched a little. They had a small jump set up ...

NEW INFO!!No park has been built so far this year. The unfortunate thing is that we have no way of finding more information outfrom the company (Ulen) that manage the slopes. Sorry I cannot be of more assistance to you

off piste is a bad idea - i boy and girl from sofia - created an avalnche going down an offpiste high up by todorka 2 days ago- the boy didnt make it - they searched for him and he was under 4 ms snow..stay on the pistes..please

Sorry to hear that Maria. But as much as i am sad for the guy that died, that should in no way deter you from going off piste if your experienced and know what your doing. At the moment you would be right in saying stay on the piste, due to the high risk but once conditions stabilise and we have a freeze thaw effect then it should be no problem. There are risks in everything but you can minimise them if you apply some common sense.

the park in bansko is being built now for a comp next weekend, then aparently in march there is a bx comp so i guess they'l have to build a course for that

Thank good!! We were ready to change our plans already. How about pipe? Last year I saw a machines and everything over there but nothing were built... I'll be testriding the jumps on 20.2 and if they are close to what they were last year I'll be really happy!! Cant wait
