Hi Rich

100lv is a great price, that would barely cover our fuel for the 200mile round trip Mad
You don't mention how many people ??
I have explained the economics of transfers services before, with the fuel which now is very similar price to UK, insurance (commercial) and licence (tax), wear and tear on vehicles (BG roads ??)... and the seven hours driving (bansko-sofia-bansko), we charge a rate that will allow me to make just less than £5.00 an hour profit Neutral I am taxed at 10% on ...

If VIP are charging 100lv one way for car/bus they are mad, if they are charging 100lv per person ?? for say a group of 4, then they are expensive !! We charge 69 Euro 1-3 people, 85E 4-5, 95E 6-7, 100E 8. For the 8 it works out at 12.50E each Razz
We also supply free drinks and snacks, and will stop at the guests request, effectively it is their private hire...
We are expecting another fuel rise after Christmas, and insurance is becoming very expensive, i have spoken yesterday with one of the biggest operators, and they are predicting price rises just to cope with extra costs Confused

Anyway, if you can get a one way for 100lv, go for it...

re: Bansko transfers

Hi Josh...
Definately a `big up' for Bulgariantransport, we are partners with this company and have just arranged a formal agreement to liase with them for transfers and support. No company is an island (they seem to be here in BG ??) so we feel with this arrangement we both can provide a better service with guaranteed back-up.

Just as a footnote, we were discussing with Alex (MD BGTransport) the coming season, our enquiries like his are up, perhaps the doomongers who have written off BG ...

re: Bansko transfers

steve,

i have been coming for many years using various means to get to bansko and from various locations including greece waying up the cost of the taxi against price of the flights etc. I used Ivan Maxev from Max Trans quite a few times and it was only last year i started using vip. I havent checked on the price for this winter. It may have gone up but last year the price was per journey, not per person. if his have gone up, will be sure to use you transfer. thanks for the info
