Hi Neal,
I also have bought in Bansko, viewed the Monastry, building almost complete and that was back in December but was a little concerned about the payment terms.
Ended up buying off plan in a development to the rear of the Tanne due to be completed Dec 05. I have to admit that the position is superb, in fact we will almost be neighbours, i`m off again in ten days, check my post re. bansko webcams, fantastic conditions at the moment (hope it lasts)

Hi Steve - excellent well done. Was concerned about payment terms aswell but all seems to be coming together in a kind of 'it'll be allright on the night' kind of way. I am going on 29th so we might miss each other I guess but hope you get snow....

Welcome to BG my friend, looks like i will miss you as i return on the 27th.Take my word for it Bansko is a fantastic place (by BG standards anyway) you will enjoy it. I will put up my e-mail on this post and keep in touch....

Hi Steve

As a "property buyer" in BG are there any warning signs to look out for. We are off there this weekend to look at properties and could do with some help from one in the know. Looking ideally for something we can rent out year round, and also use ourselves in the winter so any tips would be welcome. Staying in Boro but travelling between resorts so open minded really as to where we buy. Karen.

Yes around the monestry is currently a building site, but when all the hotels/apartments are finished it will look fine.

I have watched the monestry being built (can see it from my balcony) over the last 6 months, unfortunatly they have now built the refectory right in front of it (town side) but it appears very near completion, have a great visit, Bansko is great and the snow is fantastic!!!!

just wondering if you have a liscence to 'let out' your apartment? Aparently you need one.
